Dabaso Report: May 2022

This year, we had three bursary slots for Dabaso candidates as well as two for Watamu. In Dabaso we targeted two girls and one boy while in Watamu we were looking for one girl and a boy.
In both selections, we had committees consisting of school, library and community representation.
A total of seven girls submitted their applications. Usually, we set five points as a criteria base. Each point earns the applicant 20% from a possible 100%. Out of the seven girls, two girls both scored 100% each. So they were both appointed. They are Evalyne and Lilian.
