Bursary report: 2015

In 2016, the Akili Trust will be paying the secondary school fees for a total of 26 students from the Dabaso and Kakuyuni areas in eastern Kenya.

As a result of additional funding from The Sir Ernest Cassel Educational trust and the Hutton Dabaso Twinning association we have been able to award 5 extra bursaries this year. We are very grateful for the support that has been given to the Akili bursary programme over the years. We have made a decision not to allocate individual students to funders, so this report covers the bursary programme as a whole.
